About the Job:

A well:established, fast growing, investment advisory firm is seeking a team:oriented individual to join its operations staff with opportunity for advancement. Ideal candidate would have 2+ years of financial services industry experience, some knowledge of investments and retirement planning, and a business degree. Excellent phone skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access is required. Candidate must be a flexible, open:minded:team player with excellent organizational and communication skills. Looking for candidates who are proactive self:starters, possess the ability to handle multiple tasks, are able to work independently or as part of a team, and have a strong attention to detail. Candidates with an operational background as well as a demonstrated history of improving processes will be given strong consideration. Desired skills and experience:

:Bachelors degree (preference for finance or business)
:Minimum 2 years experience in financial services preferred
:Knowledge of Schwab and TD Ameritrade custodian platforms a plus
:CRPC, AAMS, and Series 65 designations a plus
:PC proficiency required with strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Access
:Strong phone skills
:Ambition, high energy, and strong desire to succeed
:Excellent communication and relationship building skills
:Able to perform efficiently in a fast:paced and demanding environment
:Must be able to deal easily with multiple issues and tasks.
:Shows initiative and creativity, taking a long:term approach to improvement and resolution of issues.
:Demonstrates integrity and business:appropriate behavior.
About the position:

:Candidate will form first impression of the company : must be courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. Must develop thorough understanding of firm mission statement and operations.
:Responsible for distributing marketing materials and maintaining material change iterations.
:Position involves daily interaction and problem solving with multiple custodians.
:Candidate will perform client account maintenance as needed.
:Provide assistance with client retirement plans.
:Prepare reports for the CEO and management team.
:Candidate will make outgoing calls to both clients and prospects as needed.
:Candidate will support organization as needed.
:If not already obtained, candidate must willing to obtain CRPC, AAMS, and Series 65 designationsCompany Description
